Everyone attending an event must complete and submit a pre-event health declaration which can be shared on request with the NHS test and trace service. This will sent out prior to the event and will need to be submitted in the week before the event.
Registration will only be open on race day from 6:30am to 7:45am , there will be no race briefing on the day, this will be sent out via email no less than 3 days prior to the event.
Place your stickers on bike, helmet & paddle BEFORE entering transition. Your bike must be racked BEFORE 8:15am.
Please place your kayak (with vinyl number applied) at the kayak start on the river bank as per the instruction from the kayak marshal. Paddles & buoyancy aids (if applicable – see kayak section) are to be kept in transition.
Due to Covid regulations there will be no mass start. Competitors will be allocated a start time, information about your respective start time will be sent prior to the day. The first competitor will start at 8:30am
Please prepare yourself by entering the water to acclimatise & warming up at least 10 minutes before the start following social distancing guidelines.
The information below provides an outline of the race legs and may be subject to change, full details will issued to all competitors prior the event.
Relay changeovers will take place in the designated “relay tag pen” in the transition area.
On entering transition through the IN gate, relay members will proceed directly to the “racking position of their team”, where they will pass on the race leg to their team mate.
The race routes are well signed and marshalled, the race briefing will be focused on rules & safety reminders, it is therefore important that you have an understanding of the route as this will not be discussed in the race briefing. Click on the maps to see the routes in more detail.
