Round 5 – You’re twisting my melon man
Greetings TTers and welcome to the write up and results for Round 5 of the Lincsquad TT Series. Now some of you may have noticed that we were without our TT Secretary for Round 5. The reason for this is that in her pursuit of all things velo, our very own Bellona Belladonna has gained an insatiable appetite for Cyclocross, and was otherwise engaged at the Appleby Plantation. So it’s over to yours truly to navigate you through the goings on of Round 5 on the LQ10/2.

Well we’ve had 3 rounds (and a bath) so far in the Lincsquad TT series so we thought it was about time to do a little bit of analysis and give a shout out to all those riders who have been improving on their best times by posting PBs, so here it is ………….

Slate Man, even the name evokes feelings of this being one of those races you’ve really got to experience for yourself. Set in and around a disused slate mine in North Wales and organised by Always Aim High, renowned for their excellent events, this was going to be epic.

Lincsquad TT report and results round 4
All aboard the Skylark
Firstly, congratulations to all Lincsquadders, who over the last weekend, took part in various triathlons and races across England, the Lake District and Wales. It must have been like taking a hammer to the head to bringing those results home! It truly is great to see Lincsquad colours flying high. This upcoming weekend sees the Bomber descend on Brigg and many nations will compete! Good luck to all and safe racing! I spent a bit of time reading Lincsquadders’ reports from the Slateman and they reminded me of the story of Pheidippides. Continue reading

Wednesday (i know that because all of them are Wednesdays), the 1st of May, (I know that as it says on the calendar) was the third one in the series, (I know that because there has been two before this one) was the Scunthorpe triathlon clubs Duathlon, (which in its’elf is a bit weird as the club does not do triathlons).
